Jeff DiMarzio has more than 30 years of experience in architectural design and master planning. He has specialized in commercial office buildings, corporate headquarters, hotels, and mixed use high-rises while employed by such prestigious architectural firms as Skidmore Owings & Merrill, AECOM and Gensler & Associates. Mr. DiMarzio acquired notable experience on corporate headquarters high-rise buildings in China, Taiwan, Thailand, The Philippines, Indonesia, Japan, Spain and Italy. Mr. DiMarzio has completed corporate headquarters facilities for local California companies including Dole, Univision and ICM.
Mr. DiMarzio began his career at Skidmore, Owings and Merrill in Houston where he was a project designer for numerous office, retail and hospitality projects. During this time, He completed the Renaissance Tower project, a complex high-rise renovation in Dallas, Texas. He relocated to Los Angeles with SOM, where he became involved with major projects throughout Europe and Asia.
Mr. DiMarzio joined AECOM and was responsible for two headquarters towers in Jakarta, Indonesia. With Gensler, Mr. DiMarzio co-managed the Commercial Market Sector of the Los Angeles Office and designed several office and hotel projects. Later, he became the Development Director with Markley Stearns Partners and was responsible for coordinating all marketing, design and construction activities on a portfolio of eleven Telecommunications Centers located in the US, Canada and throughout Europe.
Mr. DiMarzio and Mr. Kato joined forces after leading several worldwide projects together during their mutual work history. DK architecture was a life-long dream to produce high quality design for large, complex projects in a studio environment, a style of firm that has not previously existed. The duo has been successfully practicing their formula for nearly two decades.
